Meet the Team
​
Michael and Jamie have over 24 years of combined union experience. They both love what they do.
Michael is a 25-year retiree from Coast Community College. He worked 12 years at OCC and 13 years at GWC. He served on the union’s Executive Council for 15 years. He served multiple roles during this time, from VP at Large, Treasurer, VP of GWC, and Executive Vice President.
Jamie became the CFCP Union Assistant in 2015 and never looked back. She has served three union presidents and exemplifies the true meaning of being an advocate for classified professionals. In addition to her full-time job supporting her union members, Jamie works at a veterinary hospital on weekends and has been a part of the veterinary field for over 30 years. In her free time, Jamie is a very active volunteer for Compassionate Animal Rescue for Medical Aid, where she helps sick and injured animals, practices archery, and spends quality time with her friends and family.
